Matching Bets Manually
By the time you have got to this guide you will have completed a number of beginner offers, the easiest way to find close matches is using our Pure Profit Oddsmatcher software. The software automatically searches the closest matches for us and lists them in order of rating, this cuts down our work and makes life very easy.
Now we have moved onto the advanced offers we begin to come across offers that will require us to search our bets manually. This is because the Pure Profit Oddsmatcher software doesn’t pick up the not so well known bookmakers, don’t panic it is very simple and we are going to talk you through how you do this. The concept doesn’t change whatsoever, we are still looking to find the closest matches possible without using ‘Arbs’.
We would advise that you stick to high profile football matches. Bookmakers are far happier with customers that bet on football. You don’t have to use football but we personally would strongly advise that you do to help maintain your accounts long term. So for instance it’s Saturday and the Premier League is underway, any of these games would be perfect and class as a high profile match.
So how do I manually search close matches?
Well it’s very simple, for example we are looking to find a close match with the bookmaker Genting Bet. This is a bookmaker that the Pure Profit Oddsmatcher software does not recognise. Firstly we load up the Genting Bet website, we then load up whichever exchange we are using in a separate tab. We now click ‘Sports’ – ‘Football’ and then ideally a high profile league (Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga etc), this will then show us the fixtures for this particular league. We can then do exactly the same using our exchange and can start to compare the odds on the two sites. Obviously we are looking to find the closest matches possible, the best way to do this is to use our Pure Profit Calculator. Simply type in the odds you have found with the bookmaker, followed by the exchange odds you have found. In simple terms you are just manually entering the data into the calculator which will then work out your total loss for this particular match. At first this might seem a little long winded but I can assure you after doing this a few times you will soon pick it up and become more and more efficient in doing so.
It really it as simple as this. It won’t take you long to get to grips with manual searching and in some cases you might even prefer it. It is important to learn this as it will be a good skill for you to have throughout your matched betting experience.
Again as always if you do have any questions you would like to ask about manually searching close matches then please do not hesitate to ask, we are here to help.
